About Ferra & Field

Ferra & Field began the way a lot of good things do, with a bit of frustration. I was standing in my own garden looking at a bare fence and a tired corner that needed something, and everything I found online was either flimsy, overpriced, or looked like it belonged in a car park rather than a garden.

So I started looking properly. I fell for corten steel first, the way it weathers into that warm rust and settles into a garden like it has always been there. Then powder-coated steel for colour that lasts through British winters. British wildlife felt like the natural thing to build it around, the birds, bees, and ferns you actually see when you step outside.

“Would it earn its place in my own garden?”

Every design in the collection is chosen by me, one person, here in England. Nothing makes the cut unless it passes a simple test: would it earn its place in my own garden? If I wouldn’t put it against my own fence, it doesn’t go on the site.

We are small and we like it that way. Your order is checked and packed with care, and when you message us a real person answers, not a call centre. No warehouse the size of a town, no faceless catalogue. Just steel, wildlife, and someone who genuinely wants your garden to look brilliant.
